Toolbar Advertisments

There are advertisments in the toolbar for a particular distributor and a

particular PCB service that I do not wish to use. I have turned off the

checkmark for "Command Texts" several times, but these advertisment return

on their own a short time later. They are quite irritating. On the next

version of Eagle, user choice to turn these off should be final.

  • I figured that out and went farther. I edited the eagle.scr file to replace

    the previous links to designlinks and pcb-service with a link to find.ulp,

    and created a custom button "Find" to be the button. Now I have "Find" in my

    toolbar.

    The DesignLink and PCB quote icons can removed if you wish.

    This has been discussed and explained previously in these forums.

     

    Open your eagle.scr and comment out or delete the lines near the top that

    looks like this:

     

    MENU '[designlink22.png] Search and order {\

                                              General : Run

    designlink-order.ulp -general; |\

                                              Schematic : Run

    designlink-order.ulp; \

                                              }'\

         '[pcb-service.png] PCB Service : Run pcb-service.ulp;'
