newbie question for PIC24F16KA301-creating part/footprint

I have just started using Eagle and cant find out how to get the right dimention details etc to creat a part/footprint for the PIC24F16KA301-I/SSPIC24F16KA301-I/SS chip. The datasheet doesnt have a Land Pattern for the SDIP model (this is the one I have and want to include in my new board), for some reason. It does for the SOIC model, how ever.

 

Does anyone know why this SDIP chip doesnt have  a Land Pattern?

 

And does anyone know how I can work out the spacing in Eagle to create  a prt/footprint for this chip, if I cant use a SDIP Land Pattern take from somewhere else?

    Using digikey they don't show a sdip type part the only one that has dip

    is the pdip.

    Since you have the part in hand you can print the closest ones at 1 to 1

    and check the fit. There is an Eagle lib with just footprints.
