Finding parts in general, Terminal block in particular

Hi again,

I'm trying to put some "On-Shore" terminal block connectors on a board and don't see a library names that gives me hope.

Is there a way to search everything in the library directory?  When you add a part it is pretty easy to form a RE search but I don't know a way to search all libraries.

And lastly is there a good choice for a 3.5mm through hole terminal block part?

Thanks as always,

There will not be a library item for every manufacturer but some parts may

be generic. One has to either find the generic or create ones own.

"On Shore" have many designs. It is best, in all cases, to provide a link to

the product data sheet when asking these questions. The format of the part

may jog someone's memory for a similar part that may be part of an inducrty

standard so may be in another manufactures library.

Searching can only be affected from the ADD as you have found. What is

returned from a search / ADD done from a schematic (device centric) is

different to that done from the board (package centric).

And lastly is there a good choice for a 3.5mm through hole terminal

    block part?

    Again the datasheet would help

    Thanks as always,

see 'con-phoenix-350.lbr'. If those aren't correct, maybe you can use them

as a starting point to make your own.

Hi Mike, not sure if you are still looking but CamdenBoss CTB0355 would do the job: http://www.camdenelec.com/pdf/CTB0305CTB0355p7.pdf

I have built a site for sharing parts. Once the part is entered into the site you can then generate eagle libraries with the parts you are going to use in your project. I am just starting to get parts in, so there is not a to. To choose from yet, but I am working on that. I would live to hear feedback.
