Deleting/Erasing items in tPlace layers?

I'm having issues deleting and modifying objects in the tPlace layer. There are silk screen items I just don't want anymore and they came over from my schematic. Is there a way to delete them?

There is no way for me to select any of the items on that layer and I would rather not delete the whole layer. I just want to remove some of the screen printed items or move them to a new location.

Thanks for the help. I'm a bit new to EagleCAD.

Oh, this appears to be a PINHD-2X3-2.54-EDGE component; has these huge
legs sticking out for whatever reason.

You may need to edit the part in the lib. Some of the libs have stuff in
Tplace that should be in TDoc.
