EAGLE scripts and left clicks

Hello,

 

The help documentation says that the dot (·) can be used in scripts to perform left clicks automatically, but when I try ADD VUSB@libname V22 • in the schematic editor, EAGLE says that it can't find '•' in device ''.

 

I've used the asterisk and period in place of the dot, but I still get an error. Should I try another symbol?

    the in the eagle documentation the dot represents a coordinate entry.

    That can either be a left click or you can enter the coordinate on the

    command line.

     

    It does not mean you can use a literal dot in a script to make the

    script stop and wait for a mouse click.
