Help, searching for simple dummy library.

In some case's while doing a schematic some components is not listed in the Eagle standard libraries and I don't have the time to develop a library for a single component which I probably never will use again, here I wish I had a simple library of "Standard Dummy components" as IC DIL packages of 4, 6, 8, 10 ,12, 14, 16 18 etc. pins, a Resistor that could be used as well as a Diode or a Inductor, Pad's in array for either simple "afterwork complementary", SIL for resistor nets/pin connector etc. . (And of course they would end up in the Board as standard's .)

Anyone having a clue where to find this?image

    In a schematic, it is a really bad idea to have a physical shape like a DIL package. A schematic should have logical symbols.

    The reason is, whilst it may be possible to keep track of pin numbering for (say) a few 8-pin DIL devices in a single schematic, anything

    more complex is bound to have errors. The few minutes in time that are perceived to be saved will result in errors that will bite you

    sooner or later. Plus it is difficult to see what the circuit is doing.

    While some web sites tend to show wiring diagrams with the physical shape of the component, this is very bad and has no place in any decent CAD

    package. And often you see errors in these diagrams even with a single IC. That being said, if it was really necessary to do this, it would be a quick

    task to create your own schematic symbols that look like DIL packages etc.
