How do you do a round or other shape PCB...in CADSOFT Eagle...

Hi all may be this question is very stupid but I can't find the procedure for make a round PCB or other shape ! because I must to do a PCB for a 19" audio rear PCB with XLR connectors.

 

My prob is I did the layout with ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR (Rear panel and XLR/Jack...)  and I would want to make the PCB with exact dimensiosn...

 

Any ideas or help ?

    I just uploaded a new converter to Cadsoft to use the Freerouter auto

    router on www.freerouting.net. The Forum on that website has the ulp and

    manual as well. I specifically designed it to also handle round PCBs, by

    drawing a circle in the Dimension layer. Here is the short description:

    -

    A DSN converter to use the Freerouter autorouter (www.freerouting.net),

    replacing the brd_to_dsn_v6.ULP

     

    The modular converter is optimized for the smaller Eagle V6 internal

    grid, has a very efficient curve to vector converter for board outlines,

    shapes and signals. Allows locking of pre-routed signals, vias and

    polygons. User layers can add layer specific restrict patterns. Manual

    and ULP available on the website.

    just draw your board outline in the dimension layer using the wire

    command. See "help wire" for how to draw arcs and circles (curve or

    radius parameter).

     

    Perhaps you can use

    http://www.cadsoft.de/downloads/file/dxfimport1_3.zip to import your

    board outline (have not used that ulp meself though).
