ground plane

I was looking at an Eagle project (SCH & BRD files) I found on the Internet (and imported to Eagle 6.5).

A 2 sided board with top & bottom ground planes.

What I really liked was that all the ground point connections WEREN'T shown in the layout editor at all (as traces or airways) until I clicked the Rats-nest to fill in the ground planes.

Which made the layout much easier to understand.

That seems like it could be very useful. Is there any way to set up Eagle 6.5 to operate that way? If so I haven't found it yet.

I prefer e-mail replies. lylekrug@charter.net

Thanks in advance.
