Ground plane to pads are cross hair - need to fill

I am an old hat at Eagle but have never needed this until recently.

When I pour a ground plane, ordinarily all is well if I am designing a low current board.

My issue is all the automatic connections (not routed by me) are in a cross hair and  will not carry much current.

On paths routed by me i can use the "Split" tool to zig-zag back and forth over the pad to fill it in but there is no way to do this with automatically made connections..

ie;  Say I made my connection to GND on the bottom layer and did the zig-zag it will fill.   However, when i put a polygon over the top layer and name it GND the connections to GND are automatic and cross haired.

How do I get the automatic connections to fill in?

If I'm interpreting you correctly, those cross hairs are thermals.  You should be able to use "change thermals off" on that polygon...

    Doug

"change thermals off" did not solve it, BUT....

You were close but it gave me the pointer i needed to figure this one out.

In the DRC under the "Supply" tab I set Thermal Isolation to 0mil and it fixed it.

    Thanks

"change thermals off" did not work.

Thermals are a property of the polygons.

You either need to "change thermals off" before drawing the polygons,

or apply it to each polygon afterwards.

You can also use the info dialog to switch the thermals off.
