How could we modify the width of a complete track already routed ?

Former Member

Hi,

I'm looking for how to modify the width of a routed track.

I can modify the width of a part of a routed track but when i want to change all the width it seems to be impossible.

Is it possible to move a complete routed track from a layer to an other ?

Thanks for you help

    two ways.

    1) use the GUI interface and click on the wrench icon (change) there will be a setting called width.  simply select the width you would like to change the trace to.  Also if your width is not present you can select ... and a window will come up for you to type the custom width.

    2) use the command line, (highly recommended you get comfortable with it).  simply start typing. what you want to type is inside the quotes "change width 15".  For this example your width of choice would be 15. Once you enter that text into the command line followed by the enter key, you simply click on traces to your hearts content that you would like to change the width of

bonus tip.  if you use the group tool to select a bunch of traces at once, you can enter the same text into the command line, and then do a ctrl + rightmouse (shortcut for do selected to group)

Use cmd-change-brd-width.ulp in the default Eagle ULP directory. You can change the trace width of an entire net, or a group of nets.

    RUN cmd-change-brd-width

    Thank you Eric

Your solution is working well too and we can precisely aim the signal that we want to change the width.

    Best Regards
