Max/min which

Question

Hello, I am rather new to this and doing it for my own personal entertainment but I have a question.

I am designing a component in eagle that no library has that I plan on using and it comes with max/min values for size, spots etc, should I use the nominal value/average of the two or should I use max or min values?

Hello Zelos,

I hope you're doing well. My recommendation would be to go with the

nominal values. If you intend to do hand assembly, then I say go with

the Max values to simplify soldering.
