New part pads overlap once placed in schematic/layout

Question

Hi all,

I am currently working on a project and have had to create some new parts. One of my parts has a pitch of 0.050" and looks fine in the library editor but is overlapping once placed. Could anyone suggest why this is happening and how to fix this?

Also can you adjust the tstop on the pads?
