Why does eagle play an error sound every time I lay a signal manually on the PCB?

Im brand new to eagle.  It's getting annoying to hear the "bump" error sound when I lay a signal.  I'm connecting parts that are supposed to be connected, is this supposed to make noise? can I turn it off somehow?

    Hi,

This is not an error, it just means that your route reached the final destination of you air-wire... That is useful because sometime you may end-up your wire near the pad, but not exactly at the center of the pad... if you heard the sound, you are sure the you reach the center (no need to zoom in to check).

I work on windows and on Linux platform, and on linux (KDE) this feature doesn't work (maybe it's a trouble with my computer) and I miss this when I work on linux...
