TINY RATSNEST / AIR WIRES - how to find / route with one click - like the old version ?

Older version let you start a manual ROUTE

and then click anywhere on the board.

 

This would result in the nearest ratsnest / airwire being "picked up" or

chosen for routing.  This made it incredibly easy to instantly find

those tiny, tiny airwires that always crept in when using parts having

circular or off-grid pads.

 

I notice I can no longer click anywhere to select the nearest unrouted

airwire, but must now instead click somewhere near the unrouted airwire.

  Problem is they're usually so small I can't see them, requiring a lot

more work, pecking around, zooming here and there, etc.

 

Is there a new / easy way to do this "pick up and begin routing nearest

unrouted airwire" in eagle 5.7 and beyond?

    There shouldn't be tiny airwires left, at least if you routed right.  I

    vaguely remember there is some sort of setting for snapping the ends of

    traces you are routing.  Maybe you have that set too small.

     

    In any case, if all you have left is a bunch of small airwires, just run

    the auto router and it will clean them all up automatically.
