how to duplicated Pin (like a number) in Symbol or Package?

  • Hi,

     

    You can use the copy command to copy the pins in the symbol, but the name of the pin will be different. Or you could use the "pin swap" settings. Swap level is a number between 0 and 255. The number 0 means that the pin cannot be exchanged for another pin in the same Gate. Any number greater than 0 means that pins can be exchanged with other pins which have the same swap level. The pins can be swapped in the schematic or in the board with the PINSWAP comand.

    Not exacly clear what you mean.

    Actually there are no duplicates, so you just ADD another pin or pad.

    If you mean to have more pins /pads with the same name then add @1, @2

    etc. to the name.

    Example: pin VCC and pin VCC@1 will both appear as vcc.

    Help Pin.
