Net Classes

I use "Net Classes" in my schematic a lot, I miss the possibility to assign

a "Class" to one "Wire" and not the totally "Net". Is there a smart way to

do that.

 

-If making a power board there can be some wire there must be more heavy

than others in a single net, how to handle that?

 

Normally I just fix it before or after i use my external auto router.

  • Hi Flemming,

     

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to assign a netclass to just a segment

    of a net in EAGLE. What you could do is treat the width you define in

    the netclass as the minimum for that class. Then you can go in manually

    and thicken up the parts that require it.

    ..for this case  i create a part in my menu like this

     

    ' Rout { class-conform ON : set Option.AutoSetRouteWidthAndDrill 1 ;| \

    class-conform OFF: set Option.AutoSetRouteWidthAndDrill 0 ; \

    }'\


    may be you can append the "change width" command to define this

    or even several Class-conform OFF and change width options
