Copy wires with group must retain the net name

Copy wires with group must retain the net name, as Copy Wires without group.

EAGLE Help : "If you copy wires or polygons, belonging to a signal, the copy will belong to the same signal."

 

Currently, When I copy a group of wires, the duplicated nets are renamed by eagle and I have to rename manually one by one each wire with the original net name. The same for copying a group of vias.

Wasted time :o(

    Actually the effect that a copied wire belongs to the same signal

    or net as the original is something that needs to be fixed.

    So it's the other way round.

    I don't agree. Both ways are useful, especially on sch.

    This is how Mentor Design Capture does it.  I'm not holding them up as a model, but I like that feature.  I think OrCAD keeps the net name the same UNLESS it ends in a number, in which case in increments the number.  That's a nice feature too.  I don't know a good way to create buses in Eagle.
