ULP Scripting Language - Allow Alignment op tions  of Text

Hi,

When creating ( for example) labels in dialogs, the text label is always

LEFT aligned.

Can you please somehow provide an option for other Alignments?

This will place the text label NEXT TO an edit field for example.

If you have a few edit fields along horizontally, the label of the next

field is closer to the previous field, looks confusing .

In general, it would be good to have options for text alignment of other

dialog objects where possible, maybe you could use some constants, and

these can be used OPTIONALLY ( so as not to break any existing code) when

defining any dialog object that displays text.

eg alignLeft, alignCentre, alignRight , could be the constants and to use

and an example in use could be..

dlgLabel("Description", alignRight)

also, now that i think about this, it would be nice to have other options

for text such as..

Colour, Styles - Bold, Italic and maybe Fonts

All the default styles would stay as they are, so if no formatting options

are specified, the defaults are use.

What do you think?

Dave M

Thanks

Dave M

You can do this already by usung HTML, as in:

       dlgLabel("

    Description

    ");
