It would be nice if each sch and brd could keep a statistic about how many
hours that file was opened, and how many hours the user actually edited
something in that file.
OS function like "window.active" and "window.opened" should offer estimative
values for example... it doesn't have to be precise to the last second !

I wonder if I should answer "could be done with a plugin (if there
would be a plugin API)" until it gets implemented 
sorry no help, but I wish so hard for the plugin-api to be implemented
before eagle 10 or so...
