I am looking to do something similar to this. For a USB connector with

through-hole mounting, I need irregular pads/holes as shown below.

Is it possible to do this with Eagle?

"remove package/symbol/device-name"

be aware that a symbol or package can't be deleted as long as it is
used by a least one device.

What I do is to open the library symbol, select it all and then Copy the Group. After that I just create a new symbol and use the paste command to place the old symbol in the center.

What I still don't know is how to delete a symbol/device from a library.

Is it possible to copy an existing library-symbol to another name so I
can use it as a starting point afterwards for editing and making a
different package with it?
