Is there a posibility to search in this forum ?

Before I write a new post, i like to see if I can find a previous post with a solution to my problem.

Searching for "usenet" gives much information. The CadSoft newsserver
uses exactly that technique, though it's not connected to the usenet.

Access to a newsserver is done with a news client - that looks (and
works) pretty much like a mail client. Several programs can deal with
both, i.e. Mozilla SeaMonkey (I use it), Mozilla Thunderbird, Opera,
Netscape, Outlook Express resp. Windows (Live) Mail. There also are
clients especially for news, like Forte Agent or 40tude Dialog.

And in my opinion, direct access to the newsgroup by NNTP is even more
better than any web based forum can ever be. You might try that, too.
(However, for a quick search, without already having the messages
downloaded, the web gate at eaglecentral.ca is surely faster.)

That is a really good idea.

For a quick search, I recommend using the other web gateway at
<http://www.eaglecentral.ca/forums/>.
