Netnames on tracks when zoomed in

One nice feature I noted in another package, AltiumDesigner, I guess, was that when you zoomed in close, the net name would be shown on the track.

This was VERY useful when wrestling up close with a BGA and multiple layers where it could otherwise be a bit hard to keep track(!) of what was what.

    I second this.  A simple mouse-over (maybe with a 500ms or adjustable

    delay?) on a track might be able to pull up a tool-tip with the net name.

    YES, Yes, Yes,

     

     

    We can see the pin numbers on layout view, so why not any other type of

    parameter, just make use of a definable preference, to show/not show

    certain, thing, like net name etc.

     

    Make this clever so they only appear at certain zoom levels, or with mouse

    over, with wait, if zoomed out.
