Moving across sheets

At the moment, moving objects across different sheets is only possible

with GROUPS. One typical mistake of EAGLE newbies is to test 'moving

across sheets' with ONE part, realising that this is not possible,

giving up and complaining with me (I'm the EAGLE administrator here).

 

Mainly for new users, it would be QUITE convenient if 'moving across

sheets' would be possible

  - with ALL objects, independent of grouping status or not, and

  - for ALL commands that behave similar to the MOVE command

    (e.g., invoke, copy, paste, add).

    I like it.  Perhaps something like:

     

    MOVE IC1 SHEET 2 (click)

     

        - Chuck

     

    I think Andreas means something more for the "clickedy click" users like

    moving a part with the mouse straight to the preview page image
