Gerber data in gerber viewer

Former Member
Former Member over 14 years ago

I've successfully generated Gerber data with the Cam Processor for my project.

The files(cmp, sol, pls, plc, sts, stc, drd, dri and gpi) has been written into the directory where

the board file is located. I now want to ensure they were processed correctly by using a gerber viewer. I use this one

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gerbv/files/gerbv/gerbv-2.5.0/ . But the gerber viewer can not see/open

the files as they are locked. What should I do to open the files in the gerber viewer?

Hope someone can help me with this. Thanks.

I am using the same viewer (with Suse Linux and Windows 7) and

don't have any problems with it.

Could you give us more details, please?

Which Operating system are you working with?

Linux, Windows (which one)? Any other programs displaying the

files? How are the rights (read, write, executable, hidden)

    of the gerber files set?
