Freemium still limited to light dimensions

Former Member

I've signed up for and licensed the Freemium version of Eagle as I need to make a long, skinny board (140mm x 55mm), but I seem to be having trouble getting it to allow parts out to the 150x100mm dimensions. The code appears to have worked, and I can create more than one sheet and can run four layers, but I still seem limited in area.

Is there some other setting I need to change? Thanks.

    Hi Dave,

If you look at the website, you'll notice that the size limitations for

the freemium and the freeware are the same. The advantage the freemium

has is that it allows 4 layers and 4 schematic sheets.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge

    Hi Jorge

I hope you have taken it upon yourself to get all these discrepancies

cleaned up as they are identified. The offerings and the wording around them

need to be consistent across your corporation.

    Alright, thanks for the clarification.

Looks like I'll have to try and convince my boss to pony up the money for the pro version, just to be future proof.

    Hi Warren,

Yes I'm going to forward the discrepancy to Newark and Element-14.

They'll take care of it from there.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge
