Pin Swap screws up schematic

I was doing some pin swapping on sm resistors at the board level.  When

going back to my schematic, those lines were now crossed and gave all

kinds of ERC errors such as net not connected, etc.  I ended up having

to erase and redraw the nets.  Is this typical or am I doing something

wrong?

    The only thing I can think of is that the nets were deleted from the

    resistor in the process of trying to clean up. A quick example may be in

    order. I started with this:

    After pinswap on R2 in the board:

    One can see in the schematic that the bottom net goes all the way

    through the resistor symbol to the hot point on the top pin. The top net

    does the same thing. If you move the resistor symbol to the side, it's

    easier to see the net connections.

     

    After rotating R2 180 degrees with "rotate R180 'R2' " in the schematic

    and in the board :

    I didn't have to do a ripup or delete nets.

    Thanks Chuck.  I did not try rotate by command line.  I used move to

    rotate and saw that the net was no longer connected when I moved it.  I

    then ran an ERC which generated errors on the other 20 resistors I pin

    swapped.

     

    Maybe a feature request would be to automatically do a 180 rotate on

    simple two leaded components.
