Filename on board

I often make the same board in several versions.

 

It is very practical to write the name of the .brd file on the board. In

this way you can read the version of the board you have on hand, and find

the matching .brd file.

 

 

Is there a >filename variable in Eagle, that is is being translated into

the actual .brd filename?

  • I have found the answer myself.

     

    It is

    >DRAWING_NAME

     

    There is also a >LAST_DATE_TIME vaiable and many other useful variables if

    you type "help text".
