License rejected on upgrade to Eagle 6.0??

I'm currently running 5.11.0 'Professional'. Downloaded and installed 6.0, exciting stuff, only to have the program reject my license key. Is this then end of being 'grandfathered' into Eagle updates, or do I have to contact support for an updated license key? Got a buddy contacted me with the same problem...We've both been Eagle supporter for close to 10 years...

I can't speak for CadSoft's website, but we have the upgrade prices online.
If you want to do a simple upgrade (one version to a new version) then you
can do that online with us:

http://www.eaglecentral.ca/eagle/eagle-v6-license-upgrade/eagle-v6-professional-upgrade

The prices for the various possibilities are all listed there from the 3
previous EAGLE versions. If you have more than 5 users or need something
more complicated then email me personally and I'll get the price to you.

BTW, we are only authorized to sell in North America. If you're in another
part of the world you'll have to contact your local distributor.

Hi Todd,

EAGLE V6 is a major release, and it therefore carries an upgrade fee. Once
your license is in V6 all future updates to V6 are free(6.1,6.2, 6.3, etc).

This is how it has worked for many years.

You're right. Memory gets soft as you get older...Now that you mention it, I recall an upgrade fee going from 4 to 5....Thanks.
