Scroll wheel with Eagle 6 on Mac

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Eagle 6 (I'm looking forward to  indexing the XML format files for my search engine!) - however, I can't  get the scroll wheel to work.

It's enabled in the options (User Interface -> Mouse wheel zoom = 1.2), but it does absolutely nothing.

If I load Eagle 5.11, it works fine.

Note that setting the zoom to 0 doesn't allow me to scroll around either.

This happens with both of my mice (wired and wireless mighty mouse).

Any ideas?

BTW, I'm glad the bug where my ULPs to set the print zoom, mirror, black and so forth has been fixed since 5.11 - although I still can't use the Cmd-<n> keys to switch between the windows.

I just installed Eagle 6.1 on my Mac (running Lion), and am very happy that pinch-to-zoom works now, and I can pan in Eagle!

However, I often use an external mouse, without "pinch to zoom" functionality. I never liked the "legacy" mode, so I'm not willing to use that option, but I would like to be able to zoom with my external mouse.

I would like to suggest the following: I have gotten very used to how Adobe allows zooming in the Creative Suite (I'm using version 3). While you press alt (option), and scroll, it zooms instead of scrolling. This would probably be a simple addition, and would greatly enhance usability when using an external mouse, and/or don't have pinch to zoom available.

I'd like to second thefool's suggestion. I have an Apple Magic Mouse and would like to be able to scroll and zoom using the touch surface. Scrolling should be the default behavior, since it is consistent with mouse usage in other applications. Zooming should be accomplished through use of an option/alt key modifier as thefool suggests.
