Eagle 6.0.0 polygon filling and edge deletion problem

Hi,

Sorry - found another problem with 6.0.0 that wasn't there in 5.x.

Basically, if you delete an edge rats-nested filled polygon, then the polygon doesn't visually update like it did in 5.11.0. Undo also suffers from problems too.

Just verified that this problem still exists in 6.0.2 (I'd seen some polygon error had been fixed in 6.0.1).

    Hi Jason,

Had not seen this one yet, I'll make sure to forward it to our developers.

Let me know if there's anything else you find.

Thanks again for the time your taking to put these up, rest assured that

they are being noticed and worked on.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge

Just tried this in 6.1.1 (beta version, in case anyone's wondering), and it looks fixed.

I'm guessing this is it: "Fixed deleting plolygon edges: Drop the currently calculated polygon data for correct update after delete"

    (Thanks!)

    Hi Jason,

Thank you for pointing out the issue, I believe all of the bugs you

reported have been exercised and corrected. Thank you for the effort you

    put into finding them.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia

I wasn't going to reply about the "manual routing got difficult" until I'd spent some more time with it (I didn't spot it at all last night, which is a good sign).

Although one bug hasn't been fixed yet - the icon showing you which bend and via style on Mac OS. I thought this would be the easiest to fix image! This is the one that I asked in the thread if there was a list of known issues.

Initially, I was a bit annoyed with 6.0 - it seemed as though the only change was the XML format files, and a bunch of stuff had got broken (I still find the new cut and paste a bit fiddly - the old method was a bit clunky, but worked - the new seems kind of a half-way between that and other applications). But then I thought that I'm a developer - I'm sure I've regressed some of the software I help develop, so it's just one of those things. No-one got hurt, and it was quite fun trying to think of the reasons behind the bugs while trying to reproduce them.
