CHANGE PACKAGE for a group all at once?

Hi,

 

I currently have 192 diodes of package DO214AC, that I want to replace with

package SOD123.

 

 

I tried to use the command line thingy, but its to hard to use,

 

So far i typed in..

 

"CHANGE ALL PACKAGE DO214AC TO SOD123"

 

but doesn't work?

 

according to the help the syntax to use is this..

 

"CHANGE PACKAGE part_name | 'device_name' "

 

but how does this work?

 

any ideas?

  • its ok, i worked it out.

     

     

    1) Select ( via group ) all the components on the schematic ( in my case I

    only have the same diode )

    2) type in "CHANGE PACKAGE 'SOD123'" into the command line.

    3) right click on the group somewhere and select "CHANGE GROUP"

     

    4) Go over to the layout editor and then you can see the changes.
