mouse wheel zooming / panning

Hi,

- in Eagle 4.16 I spinned the mouse wheel to zoom in or out, then pressed it (middle button) for panning (moving the zoomed view around)

- in Eagle 6.0 the pressing the scroll is good for panning but at the same time it causes a zoom in.

How to I turn it off?
(zooming by pressing the scroll)

I experience the exact same problem. I have a Windows 7 installation and I use a fairly standard Logitech laser mouse. Nothing fancy.
Panning and zooming separately worked flawlessly in v5x but in v6.0 and onwords the viewport zooms as soon as the wheel is pressed.

Is this a problem that is recognized by the Eagle Team? Is there a setting or quick fix available?

Hi,

I had a similar problem on linux, but it was due to the X11 configuration of the mouse. The middle button emulation was turned on, which was causing confusion, please take a look at my post on the other thread, it may help users of other operating systems:
