Hi,
I am a newbie designing simple flasher circuits and making my own pcbs. I have been using large diameter tracks and will be using thru hole components. The auto pads created are really small... too small to use for manual drilling and soldering without a mask.
I used design rules --> restring to increase the pad settings to 50% and 100mil max with diameter checked. It improved the size of the component (resister, etc pads), but it also make the Library-->solpad solder pads that I am using for jumpers huge. When I use the change --> diameter feature and click on various components and pads, nothing happens.
Is there a way to manually adjust the component pad sizes... I want my generic passive component pads to be bigger, the IC pads a bit bigger for thru hole soldering, and the wire pads smaller so the don't bump into my wire tracks.
any help would be appreciated.
