I am making a small board and I put two resistors at the exact same coordinates but on opposite layers. They are SMT capacitors, both going to the same through-hole power pin.
The problem is that I don't see the ratsnest for the bottom one if the caps are exactly "on top" of each other (but on different layers, as I said). If they are slightly offset it's fine. If they are at the same coordinates I just see two yellow Xs. It's as if it doesn't realize it's an SMT part, and when they are connected to each other it thinks I should have a via.
Could this be my layer setup? (1+2*3+16) is what it's set to now, though I don't really understand exactly what that means.
