assigning keys with Alt (Mac OS X)

Hi,

I have created some key assignments in board and schematic editor. All

work fine except for Alt combinations which result in a combining

character (such as ¨ for U,  ~ for N, and  ̑ for K). Instead of

performing the assigned function it just puts a character in the command

line. Any idea how to get around this?

Thanks

Zoran

In 6.3 it got even worse... Now also AltW, AltM, AltZ, and AltP

don't work - but they worked just fine in 6.2. Maybe some other

combinations also do not work, but I haven't tested them all.

This makes ASSIGN command and shortcut keys totally useless.

On top of that there is no obvious rule which keys work and which do not

(or will not in the next release). Alt+R for example still works; in

what respect is R different from other characters? Am I getting

    something wrong here?
