Make online libraries downloadable and searchable from Eagle itself!!!

nickstomp
nickstomp over 14 years ago

make a form to search components in online libraries and make it downloadable!!!

or incorporate components in projects like:

I have a huge online database of parts and libraries and I select from eagle the part to add to my project

Only these parts are downloaded and are incorporated in my project (in a custom project library??) that I can bring with my project folder

My custom footprints/libraries are incorporated there as well

When a library from server are updated I can check the changes, review it and replace my obsolete project component with new version with a nice "update component from server" step to step dialog

Not sure I'd ever trust other people's libraries. Better to get familiar with the component creation process and create your own. EAGLE is unusual in that it is reasonably quick and easy to do this, compared to some other CAD systems I can think of. The Cadsoft EAGLE manual (PDF) available via google explains the process.
