I have placed an 80 pin TQFP part in eagle. I have a power plane (polygon), but I have noticed that the power pins of the IC do not connect when the line width of the polygon is too thick.
For example, at polygon line width 7 mills the power pins manage to connect.
At polygon line width 10 mills, the power pins do not connect.
This is very annoying. It has something to do with clearances on the part pins, I assume.
Can someone please tell me what I need to edit so the power pins of TQFP parts like this will connect to the power plane at resonable polygon line widths.
