Using Drillegend-stack.ulp

Hello

I have just recently moved to Version 6.2 and am now making my first drill files.

Is there a step by step 'idiots' guide on how to do this as I have the following questions.

1 The new user program 'drillegend-stack' seems to do different things.

It prompts for a 'library' - what is this for, is it important, and do I need it?

2. Two new layers are added to the board file. Some holes seem to be placed in the new layers - is there a description for what is going on here?

3. When I need to re-run this user program is there an easy way to remove the old data from the board file. Deselecting the layers containing the info I want to keep, deleting the holes info and then re-selecting the required layers is quite tedious (I expect I am showing my ignorance of the software by doing it this way!)

All input/help greatly appreciated

John

If you intend to generate drill data for a drilling machine, you

should use the CAM Procesor with the Excellon CAM job.

drillegend-stack.ulp creates a drill table in the board file that

informs about the used number and diameter of drills in the board.

This table is stored in library file and added it the board. So you

can easily delete it. There should be an origin cross in on of the

tables edges. For deleting the drill symbols, diplay layer 144 145

    only and use GROUP DELETE.
