EAGLE V5.11 on Mac running Mountain Lion

A bit more info:  V6.2 works just fine with Mountain Lion--at least wrt

this issue.

 

I have lots of clients who still use V5 so we still need a solution to

this though.

Hello CadSoft!  If you're going to support Apple then I suggest you have

get involved with Apple's dev program and get advanced betas of new

releases so you can test EAGLE with them and solve any issues like this so

you're ready when the OS is released.  Apple users are much less tolerant

of this sort of issue as they historically haven't had to deal with it.

I'm a long-time user so I can work to a solution but not everyone has a

vested interest like I do.

That said, I installed 5.12 fresh and it worked fine.  I doubt the issue is

between 5.11 and 5.12 but rather that 5.11 was installed when I upgraded to

Mountain Lion.  I imagine that if I reinstalled 5.11 it would work fine

then too.

For anyone else who runs into this, the solution I found was to just

reinstall EAGLE.
