Disappearing Board Grid

I had changed my board grid to 0.25 mil (alt: 0.0625 mil) and all was well

but when I brought up the Grid window again (so I could do a screen capture

to save it for future reference) I noticed that the grid value had changed

and when I reset it and clicked OK, the grid disappeared entirely. The only

way know to see the grid is to click 'Default'. Once I make any changes, it

disappears again (even if I just alter the default).

Is this a bug?

Okay, so mea culpa here - I think I'm not drinking enough coffee (or too
much - seems to have the same end effect). I was trying to set the grid to
1 mm, *not* 1 mil (Tilmann called it). Bad eyesight, maybe? All looks
right now.

Doesn't matter what the grid setting is - if I set it to 1 mil it still
doesn't show up, even with zooming in really close. Seems like only the
default works.

0.25 mil (6.35 µm) is a really fine grid...

What is such a fine grid good for, by the way?

P.S. Maybe you confused "mil" (1/1000 inch) with "mm" (millimeters)?
