Eagle Library won't load in 6.3

I need a library for the SN754410NESN754410NE h-bridge motor driver and found a library

(h_bridge.zip) on the Download section which mentions the part:

 

http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/libraries?language=en

 

When I copy it to my lbr folder and try to expand it in the Control Panel,

however, it gives an error (see attached). Is there any way to fix this? Is

there another library out there which has the SN754410NESN754410NE?

    Hi Ross,

     

    This error is due to a transition issue from V3 to V4 of EAGLE. The

    easiest solution is to open the file on a Windows or Linux machine with

    V5 or V6 and save it. That will update the file structure.

     

    At that point you will be able to open the library file in V6.

     

    I've tried to attach one of my libraries that contains the part. Let me

    know if there's anything else I can do for you.

  • Thanks Jorge! I've been using Eagle on a Mac and it wouldn't even let me

    open it to upgrade it and save. I just tried on my Windows laptop and it

    seems to work.
