new: how to save/find/add parts

Hi guys im new to eagle cadsoft, I was wondering in obtaining parts, can I open up other people's schematics and save their parts to my library?

 

Or how would I find parts not in the default library or make a new one.

 

 

The parts that I am trying to find are: TLC5940 (TI LED DRIVER), M54564P (sourcer driver), 4015N (multiplex)

 

also is there a part that resembles the arduino uno?

    Cadsoft / downloads /libraries image

     

    You should learn to make your own devices / libraries. No program

    contains all the devices YOU want and no one guarantees for the

    correctness of the libraries.

    To create a new part you have in principle do "Create new library" and make, a schematic layout, a real layoit and a component consisting of these two layouts.

    Search on youtube, there are several videos that shows how make simple and medium components.

     

    You can download some components from here

    http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/libraries

     

    The components you are looking for might be there, otherwise you have to create them.
