Mac OSX Retina Display for CadSoft Eagle 6

Please could you add retina support for us Mac users - I can switch to a higher resolution on the laptop but it then makes all the icons tiny!  Retina support would be much appreciated.

    I support this request.

     

    The term Retina is irrelevant. An the reference to Mac only slightly less

    so.

     

    The point is, monitors/displays are appearing with increasing dots per

    inch(DPI) .

    When they are used at their native resolution  and increase in DPI results

    in smaller icons.

    My monitor at 100DPI displays Eagle icons that I consider the smallest

    usable. The Mac retina laptop displays are at ~220DPI so that would be hard

    to select with a mouse.

     

    It is now time for the tool bars and their menus and icons to be scalable

    I made a similar post about my windows 8 high resolution display.  In short I also agree with this request to add high DPI support to eagle.

  • I'd also like to request high DPI support, although judging by the age of this post I wonder if there's much point.

     

    I've been using a Microsoft Surface Pro and it's quite nice using a pen to do the routing. However the tiny buttons (and lack of pinch zooming) really detract from the experience.
