Is Eagle 5.11 (or any version for that matter) compatible with Windows 8?

It was impossible to get a new machine with version 7 or XP.

If you're still using version 5.11, I recommend free upgrading to
version 5.12, anyway.

I've since installed and run Eagle 5.11 on Win 8 and it seems to be working
fine.

Eagle runs really well on Linux! :-D
