MITER command issues

If I have  MITER -.025;   in Eagle.scr, on startup I sometimes get a error message that says "Miter: cant execute while command is running in other window!". I have it in the BRD section.

I'm just trying to pre setup miter so that whewn I go to use it, it is set to the square corners. If I just click ok it all works, but I get that error the next time..

 

What am I doing wrong?
