Duplicate PCB tracks and connect them to other components.

Hi.

 

I have four operational amplifier chips with the surrounding components in exactly the same position relative to the OP chip.

I have routed all the tracks/wires to the surrounding components on one OP and i wonder if it is possible in any way to copy these tracks, and paste it to the other OP blocks and make it connect to those components.

In this way I get four identical blocks without having to route all the tracks over and over.

    As of 6.0, Eagle supports sub-circuits.  I believe you would want to put

    your op-amp and surrounding accoutrements in a schematic/board by

    itself, then include that schematic/board in your design.  You'll have

    to read the manual for the details since I have not yet had occasion to

    use it.

  • You can certainly use copy and paste to copy pieces of a layout but the issue with signals is that each one is a separate signal so you will have to change the names one by one or as needed. You can turn off the layers you don't want to copy.
