adfruit library gives error line 5, column 6

Hey I just got started with 6.4 and trying to add 555 timer. Could not find it in the included libraries.

Tried downloading adfruit but it will not

Error:

line 5, column 6: This is not an EAGLE file.

Anyone know where I can find a 555 timer lib or how to fix adfruit?

Hello,

I had that same error for a sparkfun library I was trying to use. I think I had origionally right clicked and save as to get the file. Once I used a download icon the file worked ok. I would look to see if Adafruit has that option.

Yep,
Thanks. It was that. You cannot download from browser just by selecting "save link as".

had to use download page
