Command Text Vertical Spacing

autodeskguest

In V6 the vertical spacing of the command texts seems to have been

increased, at least on the Mac OS version.  Could you reduce the vertical

spacing a bit so that it matches what V5 had?  I use those a lot and with

the current spacing of V6.4 the texts don't fit vertically onto my screen

where they used to fit just fine.

Cheers,

James.

I on the other hand (Windows) want it larger than before. The previous

reduction in size,  driven by James, if I remember correctly, made the

    Text

Menu button harder to target, reducing productivity. This may be

    caused by

the screen pixel density of the user as other postings have requested

    that

icon size be scalable due to reducing size as screen resolutions have

    increased with higher pixel densities.

    Warren.

I use Eagle on Linux, Mac and Windows. I find my productivity reduced

with the current larger spacing on command texts on all systems. As with

James, my texts no longer fit on any of my screens and I find that

searching over a larger area for what I need is visually strenuous over

longer periods of time. I use those commands a lot.

Obviously, UX design is subjective, but it would be really helpful to me

to have a setting to switch back to the smaller spacing.

we hab an extra patch in our Gui libraries in version 5 to make it more dense.

However, we removed it because the texts are a little cut off and therefore look ugly

(e.g. if you have several 'g').
