Change Mitering of All Traces?

Hi,

 

Apparently my board house cannot handle the rounded mitering of my traces.

Is there a way to change the miter style of all of the traces on my board?

it would certainly be a lot of work to redraw them!

    Hmm... Maybe the slight curvature of the 45 degree bends is just the way

    they are rendered?

    Thanks for your response. It seems like the curving I am talking about is

    not stored in this way, though. The word "curve" can't be found anywhere in

    the file except on some tPlace/bPlace stuff. They are not curved lines -

    They are 45 degree lines with a slight curve at their joint. I can manually

    get rid of this mitering in Eagle. How else could this info be stored?

    I don't believe there is a way in Eagle to do that in one fell swoop.

    Some would say, "Change your board house" .

     

    Assuming version 6 with it's XML data file you can manipulate the XML text

    directly.

     

    Here's a technique that will take the "Curve" from the wires and make them

    straight lines.

     

    Use a text editor that can search using a regular expression. Notepad++ is

    an example.

    Make a copy of your board file to practice with

    Open the board file (copy)  and search for the layer 1 wires with curve and

    replace it with text that does not have curve imformation.

     

    FIND WHAT     "layer="1" curve="[\-\.0-9]+"

    REPLACE WITH   "layer="1"

     

    Save the file

    Open the board in Eagle and check that the straightening of the curves has

    not caused a short

     

    Repeat the process with changes for the bottom later 16 if needed.
