Hello,
Newbie quesiton here. I've been using Eagle for only a couple of months now, so still new at it. There are certain occasions where my trace width is constrained by the parts, like the pin spacing on TO-220-5 parts (LT1963A), but I would actually like more current carrying capability using 1 oz copper by adding a duplicate top layer right over the bottom layer, For example, a 1mm wide buttom metal trace going from one TO-220-5 pin to a resistor, with an identical 1mm wide top metal trace above it going between the same two points to double the current carrying capacity. The "route" command is always done after the first trace is connected. I've tried using the "wire" command but the trace doesn't stick at either end.
Thanks in advance for any assist.
